Win it for charity

Each team participating in the tournament will play for a charity of their choice. The winner of each division will bring home the pot of gold for their charity. The charity you choose to play for must fit the mission of the Rochester Police Emerald Society, and as such the charity must assist in dealing with problems in the community that relate to the duties of the agency from which your team members are from. An appropriate charity for a Law Enforcement team would be one that assists in solving issues of addiction, child abuse, domestic violence, victim assistance or similar. A Fire Service team may play for a charity that assists burn victims, fire prevention, education or similar.

*Charity selected are subject to approval of the Rochester Police Emerald Society Executive Board.

We are all going to have a great time on the ice, but it wouldn't be much of a Halfway to St. Patrick's Day event if we didn't throw a party! Saturday evening when the on-ice action comes to an end the real fun begins. Expect to hear live Irish music, watch Irish dance and listen to the bagpipers.
