Clambake |
|
Our annual Clambake, which is held on the third Friday in June, has been an institution in the Housing Authority for over 30 years. (as far back as our oldest members can remember anyway) The Clambake was originally held in the Bronx and was moved to Queens about 8 years ago after the crowds outgrew the previous location. We now have a new location in upper Manhattan. Our largest clambake had over 700 people in attendance. There is no better way to spend a Friday afternoon and kick off the summer than to relax by the waters edge at La Marina on the Hudson River overlooking the George Washington Bridge, Manhattan. The reason we believe the clambake is such a NYCHA institution is: When you walk in the doors you leave all titles and such behind. There is just: Good food, good music, good friends and a Great Time!!!!! Click here for this year's Clambake info! We have found a a new location!
